Currently in the progress of changing my Climate control to white.
Bought these leds:

drilled out circuit board to 9mm and wired those in. I encountered a problem with the led hitting the plastic light refractor thing on the bottom left so I had to take that out.

This is how it looks like now:

Would swap out the small leds to ones that are not as bright when I take out the unit again. I also notice the faces of the little men not light up much.



I am thinking of buying these: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2pcs-74-37-Instrumen...3QQcmdZViewItem
and use it for the bottom left so that I can put the plastic bit back in.

Wire in additional LEDs shining straight into the clear plastic bits ( would this make the switch closes to led the brightest or would it be able to spread out the LED light)

Any suggestionson how else should I go about it?
