I've decided to sell the celica but not sure what car to get now. I'd like to stay within the Toyota family and budget isn't a huge deal, but I wouldn't buy a car that costs a whole lot anyways. I'm thinkin about a small truck right now but I really like the Prius a lot too. Any suggestions?

Haha, I'd love a RX400 hybrid but that costs wayy too much. Used IS300 and Solara might be good though. I saw a used SC300 for pretty cheap, isn't that the same engine as supra but non turbo?

QUOTE(Bigmeanbulldog55 @ Sep 23, 2005 - 10:25 PM) Go Honda, you'll never come back. I'm not a big fan of Honda, if I wanted a well engineered car that looked good with good stock performance and lots of potential for mods, i'd go for a Honda. But to me, Toyota is an overall better/smarter car company and even though reliability is close, Toyota still tends to be more reliable. I mean, look at all the different cars Toyota has offered or still do offer. They aim for the big picture, not just focusing on a certain age group or a group in general with some of their cars. For example, I think the accord and civic look better and are faster than Camry and Corolla, but Toyota designs their cars to appeal to the general public. Camry and Corolla are plain looking, but thats what they're going for. That way it could better suit both a teenage kid and an 80 year old senior. They also offer a lot more cars than Honda too so they pretty much have a car for everyone. Toyota has the ability to design well looking and performing cars, but it seems like they've reserved that stuff for their Lexus line and going to start doing it more with their Scion line. Which, I also think is genius, coming out with a car brand aimed specifically at modifying right at the time when everyone is into modifying new cars. I think its time we all went outside and gave our Toyotas a pat on the back. This post has been edited by wuhukf: Sep 23, 2005 - 5:39 PM |

Yeah, it's nonturbo, but it's an easier and popular swap for those to have the 2jzgte. -------------------- Live Free, Be Happy

Hmmm...icic, so i guess it'd be pretty easy to buy the turbo kit. But right now i'm thinking about a truck, maybe a toyota pickup or toyota tacoma.
