Are there any turbo or supercharger kits for the 6th gen celica GT motor? What are the experiances with them? What kind of power do they add? What parts do they include, and what parts would I need to buy? What are the prices?

Thanks!!!

www.burien.com

they sell a turbo kit for the GT and it is pretty complete except for an intercooler.

hey maybe you should check out the whole site (e.g. the parts section, if you have a US GT your engine name is 5s-fe and your chassis code is st204, for searching the parts) if you woulda checked there first you would have seen the burien turbo kit...

they also make a turbo kit witht he mitsu td06 turbo but that is a little more expensive than the burien.

I would recommend going custom/using parts off a 3sgte or swapping a 3sgte.

Your choices are the Burien Toyota kit, or the Ripp mods supercharger kit at www.rippmods.com. Those are pretty much the only two choices as far as pre-assembled kits go.....otherwise you can asemble your own turbo setup for less.

If you think about it...how many RPM's can the electric motor spin at when it vaccumes/sucks air compared to how many RPM's the car engine produces to create the same vaccume....

The science says that at high car engine revs the manifold will try to suck more air than the electric motor can keep up with.

It might be ok at low rev's, but it will probably kill the power at the top end....

Ripp mods supercharger kit isn't yet tested with the Celica, although it works on the 5sfe. They just need to see if everything fits or not. I just got an e-mail from them telling me they were going to get a test car in june.

ive never heard of the slowboy racing turbo kit. What does it include? I went to the site and it doenst really say anything. I was thinking of getting the burien one, but if this is $1000 cheaper and complete, i could just go this route. Any comments on it?

yea the only way that i would suggest (even i do have one) a 5s-fe turbo is if you dont know about the 3s-gte swap or you cant due to smog. you can get a 2nd gen 3s-gte (225hp) for about 1500 at most places...thats the whole front clip..same cost (not including labor and shipping) and way more power potential and more reliability with the 3s-gte. thats what i would suggest.
