i got a 29 the first time and a 33 on it the 3rd time i took it, so keep retaking it, chances are your scores will go up with experience. one thing about the ACT that im sure you know if youve taken it before is that it is a speed test more so than the SAT. you have to work fast. studying i believe is pointless, just get plenty of sleep and relax because its not that big a deal really. also, DO NOT read the instructions in the science reasoning portion, complete waste of time, go straight to the questions as they point out which data set to look at. good luck

while the act will get you into your college of choice it will not supply you with adequate funds to pay for the high price of school. Spend more time looking for scholarships then worrying about what score you will get on the act. i got into my second college of choice with a 24 or 25 (dont remember) but with a 3k a year scholarship thats good for two years so thats 6k for just going to college which is a whole lot of money to someone who has none. Gl on your Acts, get lots of sleep: is the best advice i can give.

fastweb.com awesome site, ya start looking early and apply to a lot! by the way, dont get to caught up where you go for your undergrad work, its where you go for grad that matters.
