my brother has a 90 gt-s, and its pretty cool. faster than my car, but i have an st so go figure. shouldnt be faster than a 6g gt because they use the same engines and the 6g's are lighter i believe. i like the way 5g's look only if they have a spoiler and are hatches because the way the trunk tapers off doesnt look good spoilerless. pop-ups are unique too but i dont like the black bar on the front. and i belive the interior of the 6g is far superior. i say if you can find a 5g gts or an allrac, take it if its a good price.

I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside.

i would only get a 5th gen if it was alltrac, i dont think its worth it unless you get the 3s and awd i love the 6g look outside and inside.

Isn't there a 5th gen gt-s with a nice motor in it? I'm thinking it's not the 5sfe, but the a 3s of some kind that isn't turbo. Not sure if I'm right at all. Any clue me in here?

Yes there is a gt-s in the 5th gen... I had one... it has a 5sfe engine... st-x isn't fast but it's a decent car for 1k smile.gif IMO the 5th gen is wonderful and wont do ya wrong wink.gif BUT, if ur looking for a very nice 5th gen go with a gt-s or an all trac biggrin.gif

5th gen gt-s' is all we have out here in canada... there's no gt's or st 5th gens... if you do see one, you know it's from the states. my friend has an auto gt-s... eek! Wouldn't get one, at least not an auto... but definitly felt like my 6th gen gt was a LOT faster, and he had subs in his car and everything was rattling... and he's had SO many issues with it. i agree with everyone... either get an all trac.. or another 6th gen biggrin.gif

I think it's worth it for $1,000 if you're just looking for a decent car to drive. The 5th gen ST-X is a 1.6 so you should get very good gas mileage.

That's an odd statement, given I drive a 1990 GT made for Canada. Canadian cars can be distinguished from American by the fact our fog lights operate as DRLs. I'm also aware of a few ST owners who can trace their car back to a Canadian dealership and have the DRL fogs.

You might be confusing the fact Canada was the only country in the world to get a sixth-gen GTS, while the U.S. and Canada both got a sixth-gen GT.
