I emailed Venus and they said they do not warrenty their engines, they only promise that it will start. Should I even bother with them or should I go through Jarco? Has anyone actually ordered from either? If so please throw your input towards me. Thanks a lot yo.

if you want to pay more than twice as much for 30 more HP and no parts availiability in the US (envision your car not running for 6 weeks while you are waiting for your special order JDM timing belt to arrive), go ahead. if you went st205, don't do it without a full clip. sourcing parts for that engine will be a nightmare. it's bad enough sourcing for the st185 3sgte, and those are everywhere.

if i were you, i'd get the st185 engine. it's just as good, and you can get parts everywhere in the US for it.

to add to this, why don't you search? all this info is discussed in other threads.

if you want to compare jarco and venus, I believe the website for venus is venus-auto.com, or something like that

and like charlie said, you might want to search before you post, so you don't get flamed

people here don't usually flame, but its been known to happen, and I was merely suggesting that the search be used as a reference. sorry if I came off as a dick, didn't mean it
