racing seats are way overrated...most people use them for looks and 500 per seat is not worth it....you can just go to a reupholstery shop and have them do it in any color and design for like 100 bucks for both seats...

or be like me and have your mom teach you how to sew and do it yourself.

Charlie has red racing seats in his car, and they're so sweet! And you can get pretty good racing seats for around $450 a pair including shipping if you look around.

Racing seats are defnately worth it......theyre supposed to hold you in place really well while driving and feel great to sit in, plus they can make the interior of your car if you do it right. My friends CRX looked awesome when he put his in, and i would imagine it would you make you feel your car much differently once youre in there so secure like that.

EDIT- and like Coomer said, you can get them cheaper if you look around.....just dont buy some name brand like Recaro or Sparco, and that alone will save you alot of money.

I duno, personally I think that racing seats are cool and all, but you can recover our seats and find some way to make the racing harness work with the seats and there just as good. I also like the stock seats, I just want to find a way to get some racing harness to work with the seats.

I don't think it would be $100 bucks each, cuz that would be sweet. I should know, my friend did mine. Materials alone can run you like $200+, plus labor.

i hope these pics show up. They didnt in the last thread. mad.gif

I can also get racing seats. I believe they are Zero1 racing. Were talking BONE cheap. I'M fairly sure I can get sparco as well, but don't bug me about them unles you're serious. The zero1's shouldn't be a problem though.

These aren't in my car, but are definately on my list of future mods. There are 2 colours, this one and a red one - apparently the red one doesn't need a bracket, but this one does - I would assume being TRD, they must sell the bracket as well.

Sorry I can't give more info but the site I got this info from (www.trdshop.com) is down at the moment smile.gif

dude where did your friend shop for materials at?

i went to hobby lobby here in town and the total cost to redo the interior green (color of car) and silver was like 400 bucks. thats the dash, doors, roof, trunk. seats i would estimate around 100/seat like i said b4.

I don't really know. I'm going to call my friend tuesday and see, but it looks like they come with universal sliders. If they don't I'll include them.

Here is how all the seat stuff happened. My friend called me from a car show where Godfather's had a booth set up (TN) He was like 'DUDE! you've gotta have these seats.' Anyway, From what he said, the black ones are really comfy and look really nice, but I'm still gonna get rims first.

That include racing belts, or no? If so, let me know, and I'd be interested. Also, what kinda stuff do I need to get them to work in my 94 GT? Thanks!
