Hey guys i was looking into replacing my rear tires cause they are about 5 years old and when i got them checked by firestone/bridgestone they recommended the same tires that i have on the front wich are turanza revos but they wanted 300 for both tires and the installation of them. I am in college and trying to get that kinda of money takes a little but so i was wondering if i can get the same size tire that is on the front but from a different company kinda like looking online for a cheaper price to get the wheels. The main difference would be the treads design of the tires i would suspect but that wouldnt matter, would it? Just wanted to think what other people thought before i went and spent 300 where i might be able to get a set of tires for about 180-220 without the installing but still saving somewhere in the ball park of about 70-80 dollars.

As long as you are not running directionals on the front and non directionals at the back or vice-versa , I cant think of a problem.
