If u didnt know Fuji is the company that owns Suburu. Now Toyota is the number one shareholder in the company. Its reported there using it to get there hands on there awd systems.

we'll see how it works out.

Here is the article if anyone is interested:
http://abcnews.go.com/Business/wireStory?id=1188404

Last I had heard, Subaru was looking at a hybrid system and Toyota was going to provide it in exchange for new lithium-ion batteries from Fuji Heavy Industries.

Celica is no more my friend. Our cars have become an extinct species.

It also appears that with the advent of variable valve timing and more advanced engine degign, Toyota decided to turn its back on its long rich history of turbocharging cars. So I'm sure we can expect this deal with Fuji to produce more hybrids from Toyota instead of another AWD turbo wonder from its glory days. rolleyes.gif So sad, but maybe somewhere down the line we can see a sports car that still gets like 70-80 miles to the gallon....i know I wouldn't complain.

I heard a rumor that Toyota might "steal" the STI chassi to make a new car. Maybe another GTFour smile.gif.
