DustinB and Lissa are correct, and I also have the SS-III look on my Celica.
From the research I have done this is what I know...

The SS-III was a celica that was produced overseas 98 and 99. It had a 3s-ge motor ("beams" version) and had a few unique styling features. For exterior there were the extensions/splitters in the front and the rear, a grill with the SS-III emblem on it, stock side skirts, projector headlights and clear high beams, and the 2 post spoiler with the raiser blocks that had "SS-III" imprinted on them (as opposed to "GT-four").

as for the interior, they had red accented seats, silver interior pieces, silver/white gauge faces, and metal door sills with SS-III on them.

oh, and they were only available in white wink.gif

pics in my profile

Japan only I think. Comes with a 3S-GE (some with BEAMS powerplants) and SuperStrut suspension....

95 SS-III?

SS-IIIs were made in 1998 and 1999 only, as far as I know.

From the various info I've read, SS-I was made between 94/95, SS-II between 96 and 98, and SS-III from 98 to 99.

this was based on the info from his profile..

http://www.6gc.net/index.php?action=members&itu=4673

i'm don't remember if SS-I, SS-II, and SS-IIIs were year specific. but they are categorized for the type of engine that they come with.
SS-I have the 3sfe
SS-II have the 3sge (non VVT-i)
SS-III have the 3sge w\ VVT-i

that said, i also didn't believe someone could have a 95 SS-III at first. and from the pics, i think he has an SS-II.

If you have a 1994 or 1995 Celica, you have a pre-face lift Celica, meaning that the front end of your car is slightly different than 1996-1999. The rear of the car is the same as the regular hatch. If you want the SS-III look on 1994-95, you need to buy OEM front Splitters, also from Chrisc. Take a look at Coomer's car to see what I'm talking about.

Yeah that's right, but I think they coincided with those years, too.

i believe he got those pics from eBay from a seller named keithtau. i saw those exact pics from his auction.

anyway, does this grill goes on the bottom half of the bumper? it looks like its the type that fits on the upper-grill of the GT4 bumper.
