I'm really glad to hear that. Hopefully that'll get some drunks off the road. They need to pull over everyone.

yeah thats a really good sign, when drivers touch the lines. Either they're drunk or not paying attention.

SO STOP DRINKING !!! AND KEEP YOUR EYES ON THE ROAD !!

I nearly ended up behind bars a few weeks ago. I got pulled over cause my fathers chevy truck's break lights weren't working right.(4 am on sunday) I was drinking all night and when the cop pulled me over he said if I was drinking. (I forgot that I spilled a lot of beer over myself when I had to shotgun like 5 cans) So I lied to him and said no. He got really supiscious and told me to step out of the truck. So I did and he gave me a sobre test. I guess I passed or something and than that bastard gave me the breathlizer. This scared the crap out of me and so I took it and passed too. (barely). He said "why did I say I wasn't drinking" and I said "Ok so maybe I had a couple beers" and he said "y did I have to lie" and I just said "I dunno its like instincts." So he wanted to search the truck and Im like go for it and so he did. Theres really not much in a truck when its parked 24/7.

Anyways I got off the hook, didn't tell my folks. And Now Im kicking back! tongue.gif

I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside.

You are allowed to swerve in and out as much as you want within your own lane, the law doesnt constitute it as wreckless driving until you cross the lines. (Ca law at least). This also means that if you are pulled over for that reason (within lines, not sure about crossing) then you can get off the hook pretty much everytime, gg exclusionary act.

Jen,

Just because I am usually opinionated and I tend not to like girls does not mean that I don’t care. If you ask any of my friends, or even the people on this site who I am friends with I am a very caring person.

I saw your thread this morning, and I am very sorry for your loss. I only responded in this thread because I am friends with Nick and I know he was kidding.

I don’t think anyone should drive drunk. I would never encourage that, or a post about it, or do it myself for that matter. It’s a very stupid and childish thing to do.

I hear a lot about drunk driving cases inasmuch as I work in the legal field, and I wish there was more severe punishment for the people who take not only their own life in their hands but the lives of other innocent people around them.

Again, I am very sorry to hear about your friend, and I hope you are okay.

Everytime someone here races someone else in a street race, or shows off their skills on the freeway, anytime you modify your engine or play with nitrous, you are putting people in danger. Condoning one thing and condemning the other is quite hypocritical.

What im trying to say is put it into perspective. I've driven drunk before, with reason, and i've been paranoid as hell. I certainly don't get drunk just so I can drive later. I can empathize with someone driving drunk, but not nescesarrily agree with the action (hence empathy rather than sympathize).

I'm probably with the minority here, but I don't feel hijacking a post because you disagree with some comments in it is nescesarrily a good way to get a point across.

Edit: Instead of hating everyone whos ever driven drunk before, maybe you should just be glad they got home safe without hurting themselves or others.
