Just wandering if there is a possibility of getting the garage feature like the one southeastcelicas.net has, its down right now. but i have been using it for a while and thats pretty much the only thing i use the site for anymore and just figured it would be nice if we could get it here

its where you can upload cars and list all the mods and specs with pics and prices and comments for each mod

It's possible, and I've considered doing it, but I doubt many people would use it once I spent all the time on programming something like that.

^ actualy you cant copyright internet code so "stealing it" is just fine, but its just kinda cheap and un-cool.

anyway that idea sounds kinda cool, might be worth looking into implementing it if posible.

no its a feat that lets everyone list there own individual mods and give the price, install price, their comment, rating, etc. it also keeps up with how much money you have spent on your car, the number of mods you have, and the dates you made your mods. it also compares everyone and usually shows like the top five most mods, top five most money spent, etc, etc.....

i think alot of people would use it, i know of at least 5 or 6 people on here including chucho, xxx mina, and more that are from the southeast used the one on SouthEastCelicas.net and i think if it were implemented and people knew we had it alot would use it and really that provide a way to see who is still active (from all the members who don't even own celis anymore), and continure to stay active. without having to keep up with all the boards, because not everyone checks all the boards

Celicaracer18, have you added your part information for any of the parts in the parts database?

There's a flaw with the implementation of that garage feature and showing who has spent the most, has the most mods, etc. And that is that custom one-off parts, parts modded from other cars, and D-I-Y projects aren't in the parts database.

And creis, there are laws protecting digital content, including code on the internet. That's why I can't download my forum software, change some stuff, and sell it as my own product for half the price. I wouldn't want someone else's code anyway, as I'd want to customize it to my needs and tastes exactly.
