i got in a fender bender on saturday night in my 94 celica gt and my airbags deployed...i was able to get the drivers side out but i cant get the passenger side airbag out. does anybodyknow how to do this? do i have to take out the whole dashboard? please help me out so i can get my car back on the road..thanks!

This goes in interior discussion. It shouldn't be to bad to get that out though, at least it seems to me. Now that your bags are gone, you can put a gauge cluster in the passenger side and a new steering wheel on.

I've taken the airbags outta two celis.. you dont have to take the dash off but you do need to drop the glove box down and your more than likely gonna have to cut the mesh that holds the airbag cover on the dash, I had to both times, there is only 4 bolts in there if I remeber right and a bracket or two that you have to unbolt, it takes some pulling to get it out but I havent damaged either of the dashes doing so just take your time with it.. if your not gonna reinstall airbags then you might as well take the wiring and sensors off and sell that stuff cuz you can get some $ for em... pretty much anything you see with a yellow wire loom is airbag related.
