So, i decided im gonna spend all my $ from workin at my skiing job this year, so around $2300. Any ways, im sick of lookin at my stock gt wheels, plus they have a few curb kisses. So any ways, im lookin into gettin some rims, so, i wanna know what rims u think would look good on my car..so first..pic of the car...
and these are the rims im lookin at getting... First off is Fast Wheel co. - Nitro2 In the Bronze/gold second is a set of OZ WRC rims they r expensive, but my buddy works at a tire shop and can get me a deal Third off is a set of Rays/Volk TE37's in Bronze And last but not least A set of 5Zigen FN01R-C's either in bronze, like this... or black with a polished lip like this... so..witch do you think would go well with the car??...or if u know n e other rims that u think would look just as good or better, let me know. |

The OZ's are nice! I like white on red cars...idk y but i do like them. Stay away from bronze, it looks kinda weird. Gun metal or black is cool too.
I have a question for u, u lowered your GT right? Thats not the stock ride height, correct? -------------------- Kawi Love |

That's a nice red...I like the Fast Wheel Co. ones in gunmetal. When I got my mags, the place I brought them off put a wheel on a stand infront of my car so I could get a picture of what it looked like...maybe you could do this to see which colour, style and size you like better. Then you can post us pics
Good luck This post has been edited by Slow-lica: Oct 30, 2005 - 2:52 AM -------------------- |

I like the Fast Wheel co. - Nitro2, I think this wheel would suit the car the most.
Second would have to be the TE37, but with these you want to fill the guards. Third would have to be 5Zigen FN01R-C's. I'm not sure on the OZ WRC rims, I dont think they would suit the car. Since it's a red car I don't think bronze would suit it. I would most likely go for the silver, shadow chrome, or gunmetal. Gold might work as well. ty 4 the imput
ZR i would go 4 silver, or chrome..but 1 thing...I HATE CHROME..lol..its just 1 thing i cant stand, same with silver. Silver is 2 dull, and chrome is 2 much blind. Gun metals ok, but i would perfer a bronze or gold or black with a polished lip or a matt black. EDIT: the nitro 2, the bronze is a really dark bronze/gold. like..im tryin 2 think of what u could compair it to. But its alot darker than the picture shows. hahaha, You misunderstoof me.
What I meant was shadow chrome. It's not chrome chrome. Its sort of like tinted alloys if you know what I mean I hate chrome too, so I wouldn't recommend it. When picking wheels you dont want that to be the main attraction part of the if you know what I mean, you want it more to blend in with the car. Thats the way I look at it. So try avoid picking colour that would not stand out and much or feel out of place. Silver, gunmetal, shadow chrome, or polish alloys will go well with your car. I wouldn't go black or bronze on a red car. -------------------- 98 ST204 ZR - Black Beauty - Roaming the streets of Sydney 73 TA22 LT - Tiffany Blue - Mint Classic Weekend Cruiser 75 TA22 LT - Snow White - Mint Classic Weekend Cruiser 77 RA28 LT - Flubber Green - Mint Classic Weekend Cruiser 94 MX-5 NA8 Clubman - Red Racer - Looking for corners WIP Project: 69 RT40 Corona, 2nd WIP Project: 66 RT40 1600s Corona 86 Corona RT142 - Daily Driver 6GC 4 Life Baby!!! |

Why is everyone so interested in colored rims?? Go with something with a bright satin silver finish, like Mille Miglia (see my profile).

i would go for silver, or chrome or w/e..except 1 thing...I DONT LIKE CHROME OR SILVER..lol..its 2 bland for me. To me, a coloured rim or polished lip gives the rim a bit more of a attitude. I like bronze rims, and gold rims, just cuz its somethin that catches the eye without having to be tooo bold or flashy.
