yes i tried searching as i know this has been talked about in the past. im done with my current celica. its just sitting there. ill do something with it soon. part it out, sell it cheap, blah blah blah etc (do NOT post in here "if you part it out can i have _____!!!")
anyway... ive been thinkin about getting 3fingerscelica's celica. he has the c1 front, z3 fenders and invader rear. now he says where the fenders meet the bumper is a little off, there is a gap around the headlight, and there is about a 1" gap under the rear taillights and the bumper. also a coinciderable dent (he got quoted 250 to fix) on the door. what do you think a bodyshop would charge to correct that stuff? im even coincidering bringing it to a maaco and have it done. i know what you will all say about that, but the people that ive seen that paid $800+ for maaco paintjobs have come out great. yeah the $250 paintjob is balls, but if you pay for it, they do a decent job. but i dont know about the bodywork. pretty much im lookin for a ballpark price to correct fittment on a kit, fix a dent, and color change. kthxbye. -------------------- |

Well, if you go to maaco, they will first charge $50 for a color change(cheap), for fitment issues they will charge roughly 3 hours of labor, labor is like $48 an hour. So, both fenders = 6 hours which is roughly $300. Then they will charge prolly about 3 hours for the bumper = $150. Thats $450 for body alteration + 50 for color change + $250 for dent + $800 paint job... Sooooo $1550
