the inner most brake light on the driver's side of the vehicle in lit for the rear fog. For an idea of what it looks like, think about this...when you hit your breaks 2 brake lights light up on each tail, when the rear fog is on the inner one on the driver's side is always lit just like that. You might have noticed some Volvos, Saabs, VWs, BMWs, ect with what looks like one of their brake lights are always on when they are driving at night or in the rain - rear fog. -------------------- |

It's a requirement, yes.
They're a bright red rear light that you turn on when it's foggy. (Mustang has an aftermarket fog) -------------------- JDM ST205

it look like that none of u has ever seen a celica with stock fog light. its on the rear bumber.... looking now for a pic... hold on... edit... i can not find pictures of a uk spec celica with the fog light on the bumber... but i am sure... almost sure that the few eu spec celicas in cyprus have them on the bumber... just like a 7gc This post has been edited by recycle: Nov 5, 2005 - 2:24 PM -------------------- |

If there's a fog in the bumper on a 6th gen, it's aftermarket. Stock fogs are a replacement of one of the tail lights. I only have one set; The inner pair are fogs. -------------------- JDM ST205

my friend... with all the respect... cos u come from a country that by law all cars must have fog lights... and mabe i am making a mistake... but i am almost sure that cyprus spec (!) celicas came with fog light on the bumber, one.. on the right side of the car, just like a prelude... maybe a cyprus dealer fitment(?) dont know how... but i am almost sure that this is what is here in cyprus... for the maybe 10 cyprus spec 6g celicas This post has been edited by recycle: Nov 5, 2005 - 4:43 PM -------------------- |

They will have been a dealer fitment as no 6gc's left the factory with fogs fitted into their rear bumpers.
My JDM had a fog light fitted below the rear bumper when it was imported to the uk but I rewired the inner stop lights on my rear clusters to operated when the fog lamps were switched on to get rid of the awful add on rear lamp. -------------------- 1994 JDM GT4 WRC
