if you hard wire the computer to the batt it will not shut off when the car is. as for the mouse, get a touchscreen and then a small bluetooth keybord that fits in the glove box. for the screen get a 7.2 ish lcd, with an s-video in as most vga cards have s-video outs.
as for my in-dash lcd: its just a cheap one that I took out of itsplastic housing to mount it in there witch really limits the lifespan of it, however I'm upgrading to a dubble din lcd/dvd player anyway. -------------------- |

How do I get a screen that small?
-Xenarc 700TSV -Lilliput (forgot model number) VGA -and a few others Will a screen that small hook up to a computer and how? -Yes, those screen have VGA, u NEED a VGA screen, DO NOT get a "s-video, RCA only" screen. where do i put my computer and keyboard, and mouse? -Get a touchscreen, u will barely ever need a kb or mouse, but if you do, i keep my mouse in the center console compartment and the kb under my seat. Both are wireless Edit: the touchscreen feature comes in most VGA 7" LCD screens how do I get the computer to not turn off when i turn off the car? -a shutdown controller http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/showpost.p...33&postcount=21 (btw nicorolla is me ) This post has been edited by K-ESD: Oct 28, 2005 - 11:36 PM -------------------- ----------------------6GC's FIRST V6----------------------

Oh....CarMac does own all!!!!!!!!! Here is my setup. It's still pretty messy but it should be done fairly soon. All thats left to do is fabricate a fiberglass enclosure for the comp in the glove compartment so its all nice and perrrrty. Here it is so far though.
