The owner didnt call back last night.. frown.gif should I call her back today at around 3pm or sunday.. I dont want to bug her too much...

A good news is that my brother is willing to sell his AE86 so I can get my celi tongue.gif .. all I wish is that its a 5sp and a GT but and ST is fine since I can save with the awesome gas mileage in those 1.8

Too bad I wont be the only 6GC around school..thumbsdown.gif hehe theres already an ST that comes up around the parking lot
---

Oh yea what problems should I look for?

My bro is a cetified Toyo Tech and hes coming with me when we can see the car.. but are there any problems that celicas usually have? Thanks

to the best of my knolage I think that our cars are pretty darn durable and reliable, I would just check the regular things, spare tire (used? there,) spark plugs (see if there is a lot of crap on em), all guages, air filter, all lights, if its got a sunroof look close for water marks incase of leaking, trunk carper for the same thing. if its a 5spd a way I learned to check the clutch is to put it in 3rd or 4th and try to drive off, it the motor dies the clutch is pretty good, check the timing beld date as to when it was replaced and the miles, every 30k or so is when it should be done. check oil, look over the whole body,

hope that helps

Well, man, you may be in luck! I live in Hampton, Virginia, and will soon have my 95 GT Coupe (but it is an Auto) for sale - see profile. I just bought a 95 GT Hatchback from a guy in VA Beach (manual) that I am going to keep. The car in my profile has about 111K miles and is in very good condition. The clearcoat is starting to fade on the roof and hood, but I hear this is typical and it is a ten-year old car that I believe was only garage kept for a couple of years. I am the second owner and bought it in March 1999. I have all the maintenance records too and everything was done by Toyota. Let me know if you are interested

thanks...being a 5sp isnt as important to me as being a hatchback.. theres been a couple coupes in the paper but it looks really weird to me.. Ive read that it would be better looking if it had a curren front end conversion.. but that just looks like a slimmer 2 door camry.. hehe.

I might just start looking at my other options.. ae92,s-runner, 2d camry, mr2 (<< the last one is the one im sure ill nver have hehehe)

BTW: GL on the sale

----
2 min later...

The dealership just called me (their hella fast) he said its fully loaded silver exterior/grey cloth interior, 5speed (<woot woot) and the price tag is 5995...

I want to see how much the blue book is which which one do I put the stats and things on it.?

Im exited biggrin.gif
