Initial D, The Movie Options

I finally have it.. i watched it two nights ago with my cousins. the race scenes were pretty good too. it basically sums up what happens in the first 3 stages of the anime into one film.. except that they mixed up and left some characters out of the movie.

Iketani (one of the mechanics from the Akina SpeedStars) was left out and replaced by Itsuki (the AE86 driver's dumb-ass friend)

Keisuke (the driver of the yellow FD) is replaced by Nakazato (one of the guys from the Night Kids who drives the black GT-R).

some other races were also left out (like when he chases after the rally GT-FOUR with the Hiro wing ) and the cliff jump race with the blue MR2. other than that it was a good movie.

i bought the DVD from an oriental gift shop. it's awesome so go watch it!

how is the translation? i downloaded a copy of this movie but the subtitles were really bad

also, the friend of Tak never gets a hatchi, because he starts out w/ a S13 in this one...since he's two character in one now

yeah i have had the movie for a month now it ok i wish they would have done an english voice over even though you looks like crap i hate reading all the subtitles
good movie though i wanna see how ff3 turns out

bump. Ive had this movie for 2 months now. I got a cheaply dubed one ripped for $5. Its a pretty good movie.

i think since Lil Bow is in FF3, and so is a "tak" w/ a ae86
there prob gonna let Bow win against Tak, which will SUCK
if that happens i shall BAN the movie....i have that power

actually, itsuki does drive an ae86. notice that the car said Akina Speedstars on the hood? and takumi's doesn't.

also, the subtitles make good sense.

Tak's DEF got the "shigeno" version ae86
dubbed after the creator of inidial D i believe???
