Hey everyone, I need to get my old antenna base off of the car to put a new one on.... How do I get it off? It seems to require a special tool or I'm just making it too hard. Thanks and let me know.

It comes off easily, you might have to remove a few plastic covers in your trunk, but then after your done, you need to remove like 2 screws holding in the antenna base. Then just take off the rubber mount on top of your car and push down on the antenna. It should come out.

Yes, you need a special tool However I just used a flat head and plyers to keep it steady. I know you can get that tool at autozone/murray, etc. But try that...just try not to scratch your exterior by this process. Good luck. |
