Have the opportunity to pick up some leather seats. Do these look like good condtion seats based on the photos itself?

The lines are probably normal, what about the flat area in the middle of the back seats?
Seller commented that there are no rips , just a bit of scuff where the belt is on the drivers side.

The back seats were always down when he drove - that's what causes that. I had all my music studio packed in my back seat and trunk a few times for shows and my keyboard did a similar dent to my rear seats. It took about a year but finally all signs are gone that it was ever even there.
The front seats look to me like they are fixing to rip - I know cause my drivers seat just did like a month ago. They look very dry and not very well conditioned. I'd go look at them first. The leater is very thin and tends to rip where the stitches are.
Just my .02 from the pics.

thanks for the comments.

Yeah I will have to go take a look at them. Currently I have perfectly fine cloth seats but I can't pass up an offer on cheap leather seats smile.gif.

Here are my Current seats, what do you guys think? leather or cloth better.

People with leather seats, do you slide around much during hard cornering?

No sliding (and I've been know to take some seriously sick corners at sick speeds) and the Leather looks much better. Much higher in maintenance though.

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

Yeah the cloth seats are fine for what they are but the idea of owning leather seats is very tempting smile.gif. Its only gonna cost me $400NZ for the seats and hopefully including the door trims that are in leather.

Seats are height adjustable for both cloth and leather.
