I have a list of movies that I absolutely love but I am about to post the few moviez that impressed me the most.
Again go back in time and think in terms of cgi development, development in movie techniques etc. Best non cartoon movies (graphic wise) of the XXXXs made in America , in my opinion would be: Jurassic park 1 made in 1993 Terminator 2, made in 1991 Matrix 1 and 2 Jurassic park, by far changed much of the world once it came out. I remember being in Russia and seeing it for the first time in a movie theatre without translation... Precisely when there was a line "look its a dinosaur" entire audience of at least a thouthand people (hall was packed and people were all over even standing and sitting on floor).. entire audience was like "look its a dinosaur" everyone was talking about it for a very long time.... Terminator 2 was a realisation of what was possible with cgi and in many ways was an example to spielberg in terms of what audience needs... Matrix.. by far is one of the coolest looking movies ever to hit the screen.. I heard there are cults of people living it the matrix style.... but the best series to sell of all last century..exceeding in both popularity and sales would be (books, games, movies etc) lord of the rings starwars .. up in there : Titanic and Jurassic Park and Harry potter -------------------- Captain Pessimist
