As I came back from a halloween party on Sunday. I found my fater lighting some things on fire right next to the garage/shop where I was doing my fixing with my car every now and then (every day). Well it happens so today, when I went to look at my stuff. There was nothing there anymore. All my underbody plastic cover, wires, nuts, bolts, shift linkage, and engine parts were all gone. My stupid father burnt all the stuff, and now I am tottaly pissed off. I hate that stupid *** old man, hes such a ****** and a ******. He pisses me off so much. All he does is complain and complain why I never want to help out with the farm and ****.

IT's not my fault he wanted to throw away life and live on a sorry *** farm. Its his choice to do that, and when he wants me to help out. Im like ok, but thats if I have time and if I want too. I got a life too ya know! I can't rot at home like how I had to growing up. God damn stupid *** parents. Im 20 Now, I can do whatever I want, stay up as late as I want and live where I want! Coming next spring, Im gonna just move out of the stupid *** farm and live by myself near campus. Gosh I hate how I have to deal with ****** parents and explain things to them when they don't ****** know anything. mad.gif mad.gif Any of you guys have to deal with parents, cause your just starting out in life, in college and or all sort of stuff?

that sucks, but chill out. as much as it sucks, as long as you live there you have to respect their rules. once you get out though, its a whole new ball game wink.gif

I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside.

ok having a step father issue myself let me give you a word of advice.

First of all what was his reason for burning all your stuff? Despite his anger he would not burn anything unless you really ticked him off.

Think back and remember what were the causes and other factors involved.

Also saying.. ahh bahh yahh etc and still expecting to live there wont get you nowhere. If you want to move out.. do it now or else you are just contradicting your own feelings.

Furthermore what is expected of you at home is a common thing as the owner reserves the right for whatever. If you do not pay rent and if you do not pay for insurance, food and what not then barking at your father is a waste of time as (if you provoked him you had it coming). Now here is my one and only advice to you...

(Based on me running away form home at 15)

Get a job if you already dont have one (and I am saying this because I know) that would pay for all your expences.. I pay 15000 per year living semi-quiet... not going out etc. that includes rent, food, entertainment (tv+internet), insurance etc

Untill then not doing what you are told to do only would add fuel to fire.

My stepfather had me:
digging trenches, holes, chopping trees, building, climbing roofs in any weather conditions.. etc etc... while not giving me respect and attention a kid of 15 years deserved... I lived with no form of anything in a 8 by 8 ft room with my bed there and nothing else. 3 channels of local tv at home etc etc...

As soon as I moved the heck out I fell into poverty untill I got my income to a level I wanted. Now I am making 25K per year... paying my way through school and having everything I want except a 3sgte'd celi

Hope my experience would help you make your own decisions.

Yeah I totally feel ya 100 ~ 1000% on this ...
When I used to live with my parents when I was 17 my dad used to throw out everything important to me or not "Go Figure" Which I wouldn't understand what your father's case would be but my father's were, that in his eyes what ever that was important to me was just another peice of garbage laying on the floor which we'll never be removed. We used to fight like UFC, him and his judo & me & my kick boxing LOL which my ass was always kicked by him.
Now being 24 & thinking about the past of what I did to the poor man I always feel bad. His almost in his mid 60's .... now I think about it all those time I screamed, yelled, broke stuff & ran away from home it's really worthless. All he did was to try to clean out my area so I could have clean place to study & all.
I truly don't know what your age would be but calling your father names now you will most likely feel bad about it depending on what the situation was.
I understand your mad & I feel you that those parts of your cars were very import stuff in your life but ...... those are something that you could always find in the market to replace but your family is something that you'll never be able to replace once they're gone.

my dad does the same thing.
if he doesn't know what it is, he won't ask, he will just throw it away, or throw it on the burn pile.

My fathers a stupid old fool. He said he was making room for his wood, and his hay. This is a garage shop not a barn! He knows I was using it and I had all the things I wanted in a pile right next to the corner, but NOOOO! He had to take everything and burn it all! All my AC lines, under cover, bolts, wires, fuses, and everything was burned or heavily damaged. Im so pissed, so yah next spring when I get more money saved up im moving out and gonna live close to campus.

I moved out when I was 18 and very seldom visited my parents. Now they love me and tell me how much they miss me. It's great. I showed up at my parents at 10:00pm one night and my mom got up and cooked me dinner. It was great. Seriously, when you turn 18, you've got to get out on your own and become your own person. Even though being poor and trying to pay your own bills sucks...

haha screw moving out just yet. If I move out I wouldnt have any money to put into the celica. Going to school and playing college baseball is hard enough, a job on top of that would be crazy!

From the threads you've written in this forum, i can tell that you're really immature and need to grow up. Maybe its not ur father and maybe its you, and maybe its YOU that needs to change. So who cares if ur father burnt it ACCIDENTALLY. Its not like he torched ur whole car on purpose. Its a CELICA..not a 100,000 dollar car. Get over it and grow up.

^ Agreed.

Besides, your Asian, not sure what descent, but thats how you grow up. Close to family. Yeah your parents are old school and traditional, but thats life buddy. You wouldn't be here without them. Respect them a little more than that.

Yeah, Im at 7500 now. You have no idea how much I wanna take that 7500 and 3S the Celica and get my body work done. Thankfully I was disciplined enough to put half of it in a CD and the other half in a money market account.
