WTB: Any 6th gen Celica, In need of a Celi in Cali Options

As I've been lurking on these boards for a few days, I've noticed a few people selling their Celicas, but unfortunately they're all east of the Mississippi.

I'm looking for a 6th gen Celica (obviously, that's why I'm here) with a clean title. I would like it with a clean body, minor nicks and scratches are okay, even a ding here and there, but would prefer no major body damage.

There's a bunch of other things I'd prefer, but they're not at all necessary (air, alloys, moonroof) just would like to find a cheap 6th gen Celi out here in Cali. It will more likely than not be my daily driver, so would also prefer it to be an automatic. Anyone got something, let me know.

buy ryu's, hes in long beach and has a 3s swap and gt4 kit going on. hes in long beach. or celiracer has a 2nd gen 3s swap for 7k

I was more looking for something that I could work on . . . . the two of them seem to have completed a lot of the work already . . .

and did I mention CHEAP?

But it is good to see there is some west coast action, I don't see all that many 6gc rolling around. Hopefully I'll be one of them soon.

I have an 96 Auto ST, In Houston Texas. I can get it transfered to LA through family.

155xxx miles, daily driver, light modded, engine in perfect condition. Exterior needs work, and interior needs very minor work.

yeah... buy mines.. the motor is still stock..so there's plenty of things you can do to it

Celica for that low has to be ether totalled or over 300k miles. I think the chasis for the celica goes for about 1.5-2k

I got to go take a look at it though. The lady that's selling it says that the engine and interior are in good condition. She's asking $2000.

Umm.... well as long as you want to put money into fixing it up. Otherwise yuck... I wouldnt touch it.

Went to take a look at it, and it was worse than it looked in the pictures (if you can imagine that). I guess the car had been in a pretty bad crash.

Oh well, I guess my quest for a Celica moves on.

Yup, it was a mess.

But the interior was in pretty good condition and the engine sounded okay. I just couldn't take it, the exterior was just too trashed
