i have a 5sfe, and i pulled the spark plug wire out of the head and oil came out as well, i know there is a bad seal but what should i change the valve cover gasket or the head gasket??

just get a new valve cover gasket... very easy fix

this seems to be a common problem. This happened to me a couple weeks ago. i replaced the gaskets under the valve cover bolts (sorry dont know what it was called exactly), and it fixed my problems. Just to make sure, i also replaced the spark plugs and spark plug boots+wires. Cheap cheap, about a half hours work. have fun.

hmmm, maybe this relates somehow to my problems(see other topic) I looked at one of my spark plugs in the engine and it looked like it had oil or something on it.
