So I dropped off my cousin today at his house cause his brother in law couldn't pic him up at school. Well, their camry was outside it was a '93 and I just couldn't help but notice the hood up and a bunch of wrenches around it. So as Robert the Bro. in law was working on it I went up and talked to him. He said the car wouldn't start and it back fired a lot then die out once. Well, it happens so that My uncle (owner)was a mechanic before and he couldn't even figure it out. Well, after being invitied to eat supper I ate with them and Worked on the camry as thanks. As it turns out the car had a lot of sludge built up into the engine and the 5S engine was eating oil. After checking out the oil level. I was like OMG!! It was filled up to 2X the full level and had troubles cranking. So after making robert do the dirty work of removing a lot of the oil and charging the battery. It still wouldn't start when he turned the key. So pissed I was, I got into the car and turned the key and gassed it all the way. As it seems the engine fired right up! And spitted out a crap load of white smoke. I think the engine was eating oil and water at the same time. The engine was bad, but at least now it was running. SO another car was saved thanks to me who is a complete idiot at cars. I still can't beleeve mechanics forget that the small things are the ones that really matter such as an oil change.
