So after a year n 2 months, i quit my job at Canadian Tire. They say they promote but they dont ever. So i figured it was time 2 find a good job. So my buddy told me about this tire place thats hiring. So i took the job, workin full time now. $9 an hour, and i dont do any thing. Its great, today i installed 4 sets of rims, shipped off 36 rims to diff places and cleaned up the shop. The day went by soooo fast and i did like nothin. Best job ever. Plus, they are one of the few dealers of O.Z. Rims in Toronto. Like 30% of the rims we have in the wearhouse are OZ. I got quoted for a set of the WRC replica wheels in 17X8, i get trade price + another 10% off every thing. So i can get my wheels for less than $2000 for O.Z.'s biggrin.gif. Im gonna talk to the owner of the shop and see if i can get a 6gc discount for thouse GTA 6GCers.

you're lucky to have a job that can be considered fun. I work in a plastics manufacturing plant. Boxing thousands of plastic bags. 11.96 an hour though, which is pretty nice. I like getting $900.00 checks at the age of 18..

95CelicaST what part of WA are you in again? LOL I would quit my job & come work where you do for that amount! I have been @ the same job for 5 years & 10 months & the owners get cheaper & cheaper every year! They havent given raises or anything in almost 3 years!!! they are very greedy (the wife is "vice president" & gets $600k a year........grrr!)

ANYWAY back on topic!!!! biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

CONGRATS w/ your new job Valo666!!! Good for you for leaving that other job....they sounded like bastards! So I agree w/ pr_caralho...you should hook us up wink.gif

Im in Enumclaw, but I work in the Kent/Renton area. That would be great if you worked there.. then I might actually have someone to talk to. It isn't suprising when I go through 8 hours without saying one work to anyone... mainly either singing to myself or thinking about what my next paycheck will buy (Ipod, BEAMS and other things...)

I was working at this chinese restraunt where the owner was willing to pay me $400 in cash every Saturday night when the shift was over. I would work M-Sat, from 11AM open-10PM close. I turned him down, cause after he beated up his wife and become a jack-ass to his employees and promoting me to manager (yeah right counting cash register money as another duty is not being a manager) I quit on him cause I couldn't take his lying nonesense anymore. He tried to make me feel some pity for him after his wife decided to ditch him and get a divorce. The pay was great, but the work was like hell running back and forth serving out food and what not. Now im just unemployed...... wink.gif
