I practicly sit in the back seats. I'm kinda tall though and I have a sun roof. I put the seat up as far as I can, my hair hits the ceiling at this point. I drive with left hand at about 10-10:30, and right hand at 2-2:30. Got to be ready to shift. Try to drive nice and slow and keep the rpm down around traffic and in town. No need to put others in danger.

I sit UP in my seat. I hate when you see people all slouched in their seat trying to look badass. I have my left foot on the dead rest and hands at 10 and 2.

thank you! i drive like you guys too... seat straight back, hands 10 and 2, seat pulled forward so that when i extend my arms, my wrists can fold over the top of the steering wheel. This is proper driving postion that will allow you to turn the wheel the largest angel without crossing over and the seating position allows you to use its sides most effectivly to brace against turnung g's.

My gf thinks im a loser because i drive like that, and of course she cites her brother who drives a riced up rsx-s all leaned back. Oh well, hes in HS, he can be forgiven for now.

i don't know if it cause of the pain on my side but i kinda lean to the right but the back of my seat is almost at a 90 degree angle.... and the bottom of the seat is all the way down ... right hand is almost always on the shifter and left hand is 10 o'clock.... my seat is positioned back to the point where when i push the pedal all the way down its just the tip of my toe that is pushing it down ....

freeway driveing is with the left hand on the wheel wile rested on the door, and the other rested on the shifter/arm rest.

however I go with the one had on top some times too.

Seat always up to a good hight, I think its so funny when people lean it all the way back and have to erk there back to see over the wheel.

my seat is all the way back, i am 6'1" and my legs are long. reclined at about 90 degrees. place hands differently depending on road im driving on. sometimes im 10/2 and sometimes im 8/4, and every once in a while ill drive with my knees on long slow roads, not the safest thing tongue.gif drive with one hand sometimes usually with left elbow resting on left leg with left hand at around 9. i never drive with one hand on top, i hate that. right hand rest on leg, ebrake, or my girls's thigh or belly, she likes to recline all the way biggrin.gif. also try to keep rpm's below 4k for the most part.

and mon3y19, you better hope you dont get in an accident where the air bag goes off smile.gif

I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside.

seat at the highest thigh/sitting position. tilt around 90-100 degrees. seat close enough to the front so that i can cross my wrists at the top of the steering wheel, so maybe like 3 clicks back(my legs brush against the plastic trim pieces under the steering wheel). hands at 9 and 3, but doing the thumbs up position. i try to have both hands on the wheel all the time, so i never rest it on the shifter. i hear thats actually bad for your tranny too, though im not sure if its true, or if it only applies to rwd cars. i always turn with both hands to, and never solo/palm the wheel.
in my other car when i autox, I pretty much drive exactly the same, but my right leg is actually pushing against the tranny tunnel trim, and my left foot pushing hard against the dead pedal. i guess its a way to properly brace myself firmly, or atleast my legs. I try to use my ankle muscles to adjust the throttle in normal driving and autox, and not my whole leg like many highschool punks do when they sit in the far back seating position and who basically can't even hold the wheel with both hands and still be in the proper non-slouched forward position since they pretty much have to reach out with the ball of their foot just to reach the pedal.

My seat is fairly upright, the lower part is as low as it goes, and my arms are at 3 and 9 on the wheel usually. People usually poke fun at me because I shift and then immediately my hand moves right back to the wheel. tongue.gif

guess i look like an idiot! but i cant sit straight up it hurts my back and is very uncomfortable so my seat is back rather far. gangsta leaning with one hand on the wheel and the other holding my phone and shift knob. tilt is all the way down closest to my knees.

im a very aggressive driver as well but my driving skills are always complimented on by guy drivers :-)

It depends on the day. Sometimes I have the seat all the way up, sometimes down. Occasionally I drop it down and recline, drop the wheel all the way down and pretend to be in Formula 1.

Driving style?...get in the car and go tongue.gif

One hand on the wheel, the other either on the shifter or the wifes knee/hand.
Seat is pushed back (long legs) and backrest is slightly tilted back. I'm pretty tall so I need room. Basically I drive comfortable, some days fast, some days average speed.

I never understood why people like to drive where when they look to the side they look directly out of the rear pass. window, or have the backrest all the way down so that they sit proped up on their elbows. confused.gif
