just got myself a 97 celica gts and was wondering where i could find the main unit for the alarm? and how can program/adjust the sensitivity of the alarm? thanks

Have you tried under the drivers seat?
or otherwise it will be behind the dash.

NO ITS NOT UNDER THERE......YA ITS PROBABLY BEHIND THE DASH....BUT IN WHAT AREA IN THE DASH, I JUST DONT WANT TO BE RIPPING OUT MY WHOLE DASH JUST TO ADJUST THE SENSITIVITY

I'm pretty sure mine is in under the centre console in front of all the shifter gear, kinda underneath the climate control but mounted to the chassis not the dash. Its a smallish metal box about the size of a tabacco tin. At least I think that is the alarm unit!

I've checked under the centre console.
It's not under there.
I cant remember what it was
I think it was the ABS sensor there.
Whats up with the CAP LOCK rolleyes.gif

Maybe. Recently I also noticed a smaller black plastic unit with some kind of adjustable gauge on it, any idea what that is? It was right under the console under the coin tray thing. I'm sure its only been there since I had the garage replace my ecu.

its actually above your brake pedals. i have a stock alarm on my convertible. You'll see a black little box with a red light blinking.
