Currently running:
Alpine 9835 RE 6.5 components caliber ca475+ Anyway just want to know where do you guys have the tweeters? Do everyone just use the stock A pillar locations? I am thinking either: http://forums.nzicemag.co.nz/download.php?id=2844 or http://forums.nzicemag.co.nz/download.php?id=2837 What do you guys think? Anyone into sq ? I have a feeling I should have the tweeter at the furthest location from the listener because using time alignment, I can only delay the woofers but not the tweeter. |

I went ahead and did mine, The tweeter can be swivelled, it will be directed towards passnger. Legs do not obstruct tweeters as well.

no they are components see how the tweeter is mounted in the door panel away form the mid. i personaly would have mounted them in the kick you need all the height you can get in the celica.

The kick was another location I thought off but my leg would be blocking the tweeters
![]() My crossover are now happily in the kicks though. This post has been edited by soven: Nov 19, 2005 - 11:55 PM |

Tweeters need to be mounted within 6 inches of the midrange driver to avoid lobing. Pointing it to the dome light is an easy way to figure out mounting position.
