I noticed that when I removed the giant steel bar in front of the chasis that sits right in between the stock bumper. The car actually handles a lot worst then before. With the thing back on the front of the car it doesn't feel so loose anymore. Does anyone exp this too with a new body kit, or if they removed theres? I kept mine cause it improved handling and chasis wasn't so flexed with it off.

Ya, i think that is the a bumper to that helps from going streight to the motor in a front end wreck. I'm keeping mine on when i get my bodykit on. So ya i'd keep it on man.

#1 it weights nothing so you can't take it off claiming weight reduction,
#2 its a 5pmh crash bar it saves your butt when you run into things #3 yes it is a form of bracing but i really didn't notice a difference with or without it #4 yes you can fit it on with ANY bodykit minus the gt4 front end in which case you get one for the gt4. if someone tells you that it won't fit with a bodykit its cause they havn't tried. It will fit under a bodykit |

thats cause your a lazy bum zach i never said it was a direct fit
for both my invader fronts and my BOMEX i had to dremel a significant amount of bumper away for it to fit and same with cone style it will fit you just gotta do a little trimming |

can't you use a gt-four bar instead.. it's smaller and thinner than the factory USDM ones. i'll try to find a pic of it.

i dont think i would cut anything with "safety" in the name.
my friend (back in highschool) took off his bar [winter time mind you] and slipped on ice into the back of another car, it wasn't too good cuz his engine bay caught fire. but go ahead take it off if u wish. |

I took it off.... in order to fit the c-one (style) bumper on. I don't notice any difference with handling or anything...

i removed that bar to fit an invader front on. i had a piece of steel cut that is about 3" wide and 1/4" thick. installed this in place; in order for the bumper to sit back far enough.

the GT-4 crash bar would work perfectly with the C-one knockoff.
