i finally got my turbo and everything in... except that my boost guage says that im not making any boost. i had some trouble securing the waste gate actuator to the housing. durring normal driving is the waste gate actuator moving the switch on the back of the housing? btw, i have a gt28. any ideas? help?

edit:: as, i have a cel, but i assume thats because i dont have my stock oil pressure sensor hooked up. has anyone else removed the stock oil pressure sensor and didnt get a cel?

UPDATE: Everything is working great as of now, not a single problem! Here are some pictures:

check for boost leaks.
the oil light switch dont throw a code, just makes the oil light come on.
the wastegate actuator rod should only operate when you hit the boost set by your wastegate spring, or boost controller.

those pics are nice to see nik. no i mean i am getting a check engine light, i assume because i havent done the exhaust yet and thus my o2 sensor is hanging in my engine bay (i spilt some coolant on it, might have to get a new one?)
i was afraid to put the waste gate at too much of an angle for the switch, but i see that yours is at quite an angle. my turbo is mounted under the manifold though, so that it hangs down next to the radiator.

and it was a custom kit.

get a bun welded into your DP for the o2 sensor and replace it those things are touchy. then unhook your negative for 10 minute and it should reset your computer. the wastegate should be fine any way you mount it.also get some pics up wink.gif

haha, actually i was supposed to route the intake through the hole for the fuse box but i didnt want to move it, so its sort of custom work/ using what i had because i didnt want to mess with the fusebox. i mean it works right??? smile.gif

Also, i like it mounted like that too, but you have to remove the front engine mount... im supposed to recieve a rear solid mount to make up for this, but i haven't gotten it yet. so as of now, i have only 3 mounts...

2300 for everything, plus about 200 for odds and ends.
