I'm taking out my guage cluster to replace the bulbs, but when i was turning my steering wheel to get the screws out to get the top of the steering column out, my steering wheel locked. No problem...but now my ignition switch is locked. The key wont turn AT ALL. How do I disable it? And tell me quick, because I kinda need to drive my car...

Try giggling your gear in "park" also. I've had my ignition lock up on me a couple of times, and doing that has unlocked it.

good luck. wink.gif

pull you wheel as hard as you can to one side and while you hold your wheel push and turn your key that should work. and you should have to take the top of the column off you just have ot till your cluster a little bit and it will come right out.

That screwed me up...but I fixed it. The bulbs look like ass though. Not worth my 45 minutes of time. Oh well...gonna find some blue ones somewhere and do those. I should be able to do it in 10 minutes this time.

MrCodyFantastic, I wouldn't just get the regular 194a blue bulbs as they aren't that strong and will end up looking kind of aqua and dull colored. Invest in some Leds or something brighter if you want any difference.
