Yeah its amazing what a year or two out of HS makes. The maturity level increases exponentially.

But yeah lesson learned, dont buy someone your dating anything in the first month or 2 unless its their birthday or christmas. And lesson two keep those types of dreams to yourself until you are way more involved..like 5 or 6 months.

ok, I'm really sorry if this is mean, but you just need some experience with women. Granted I am only 21, but alot of this stuff is just common sense. You bought her boots? I'm sorry, but you should easily recognize that the second she asked you for the boots(did she ask for them?) she was testing your level of obsession. Once she got you to buy the boots, it just re-enforces her idea that she is worth so much to you that she can get you to do anything. You're her little bitch. You treated her to well and she at least got away with a new pair of boots and a little piece of your heart.

Will you buy me some boots? it's getting cold out here, and I'm sure I deserve a pair better than that shifty biatch.

general rule of thumb
treat the girls you're interested in, like you're not interested in them and treat the girls you're not interested in, like you're interested in them. You'll find you'll have alot more girls willing to put forth more effort into what ever relationship you want to pursue.

I think maybe we need a new forum related to relationship problems, then get some doctor phil wanna-be to moderate it.

make sure you find a nice girl that suits you and has the same interests eg music, sports, cars whatever make sure you are suited and make sure you go out with a chick who you can trust not just one that wants you for your car

yes, similar interests are a must. My current g/f seems to have the other half of my brain, she thinks exactly the way I do and we have the same interests. It's actually kindof weird, sometimes, we will match clothes without meaning to. She'll come over wearing the same color stuff as me, even if I hadn't seen her all day, it's freaky.
