Heres how to make ur gauges look like mine. Just replace the old green bulbs with some three
type-194 light led ones and ur done. Very simple and easy. Took me something like 15minutes
to make. And make sure the leds lights up before putting ur gauges back.

Thanks, its nice to hear u guys like it too.

First we take off the sparewheel and made a half of the subbox from fiberglass and the upper part of it we made out of wood so it was easier to fit in the topdeck. (Btw the subbox is something like 25litres.) Then we made out of this wood the ampboxes and that topdeck. The topdeck was kinda hard to make fit there but we used cartboard to help us getting all those shapes in there. Its made out of three parts one in the middle and from two little parts in both sides. The bigger amp and crossover box we simple covered with some chrometape which i think was the best way to get that look. And after that we just but this all together. It took us something like 1week+ to made it banging but i think its worth it. Hope u understand a word im saying. smile.gif

Is there plexiglass over the amp? and if so isnt there overheating issues?

Yes ur right there is some plexiglass. We have wondered that overheating issues too but for no reason. After we asked it about the guy who has sold me these things he told us that because its an digiamp it doesnt really heat at all so we dont have to worry about it. So we have camed trough that same question while making these. tongue.gif

And thanks for ur all opinions.

im still a little confused on the whole setup...so how is the sub sitting in its box? is it like in a box that is half fiberglass, half wood? im just curious how the inserting of the sub worked.

At the bottom is that half fiberglass box which is bolted on in a wooden box which is still bolted on to the topdeck. And the "subhole" is on the topdeck. It was lots of easier to bolt on that wooden box to the topdeck than it would be with that fiberglass and thats how we made the subbox to the same level with ampboxes. If theres still something u dont get clear ill try to explain it for u.

And sorry dont have any more pics of it. frown.gif

Not really a big deal for me and i think that was the only way to make trunk look like i wanted it to look. But thats just me. No hard feelings.
