Well that works, decided against summer tires and im gonna go with some all seasons... i do live in ohio after all rolleyes.gif

Anyone have any experience with the ASX's?
I'll be going with the stock size since they don't offer 215's in 15 inch wheels.

Hi Guys I use 225/18/40 and they just about fit. Anything bigger and I would need to strip out the wheel arch liners!!

Mine are 225/35/R18 i like them. But are perfect for 18's so you can lower it however much you want to.

Kumho 711's are teh suck.
(best way to describe just how bad they are)
Ive got Yokohama AVS ES100's, which kick the crap out of those Kumho tires. My bald bridgstone H rated tires were better than the new Kumhos in cold or wet weather.

I use 215/40/17 but probably could have gone bigger. They are fine though.

Considering you're probably running the standard 18x7.5 wheels... that size is OK. It's a bit too tall and will throw off the speedo... but it's fine. Too big is 225/45/17 on a 17x7 wheel. The size closest to stock is 215/40/17... but if you like more meat on the sidewalls, 215/45/17 works also. Personally... on a 7 inch wheel... I wouldn't go wider than 215... but 225 series will fit fine too. A "too big" one would be drocay's 235/45/17's. That's too wide and too tall unless that's a 7.5 or 8 inch wide wheel, which the tire will still hug over.

That's cool, I just think you would be better off just going with wheel spacers and longer studs. But then again, it's not my car now is it? smile.gif
