JRP is testin my nerves.... Options

So i know that ive been on here posting and ranting about how great JRP, Johnson Research and Performance, is. Ive been goin 2 these guys for awhile for parts for my celi, parts for friends cars and parts for when i worked at a performance shop awhile back. Any ways, service up till this point..been absolutely great, nice ppl, good prices, stuff is usually redily availabe n if its not, its in within 2 or 3 days. So this is where i got my Sparcos from, and every thing i need to install them, except 2 peices. I ordered every thing late sept/early oct. They said that seats, sliders, adaptors, hardwear, every thing except for the bases would be in within a week...sure enough every thing was. So they said the bases have to be special ordered from sparco in California because they arent usually availble. The guy said it would take roughly 4-6 weeks to get them in. I.E. they shoulda been in mid nov at latest. So they gave me a rough idea of when they would be in, so i called them numerous times seeing when they would be in, never got a straight answer, then got told they would be shipped up within the week, this is early nov, and they werent. I got screwed around by these guys like 10 diff times between the point of ordering and gettin. I managed to talk to the manager and he told me he would take a whole wapping $20 off each base's price (price is $125 each, total bill was over $2200), and would track them down for me. I went in there last week(22nd) to get them, sure enough, they havent even been shipped and arent even finished being painted. The guy in Cali said they would be shipped the next day. Carson (idiot im dealing with) tells me they should b in yesterday or today. Call yesterday and he tells me they got a truck on friday but didnt know if they were in, so he said he was gonna go take a walk to see if he can find it. So tells me he would call me back in 10 or 15 min. So i waited 40 min for him 2 call back, so i called back and apparently the retard went for lunch. So the guy i talked 2 when i called back told me they would be reciving a truck late yesterday or today after noon. I call them today, and carson blasts me and apparently told me yesterday that the truck would b in wensday or thursday. So almost 2 months after the fact of ordering them, they still arent in. These guys are seriously gettin on my nervs. So any one in the GTA, if ur gonna order any thing from JRP, talk to Brent, Big Steve or Shawn. They will actually track stuff down for u and get them in within a reasonable time frame.

I hate when stuff like that happens. My dad and uncle both have shops, and when stuff like what your saying happens, it's just people not doing their jobs. I don't understand why they aren't nicer to you. That's just bull. You don't do that to customers, especially when they're willing to put down a good bit of money. Sometimes these people don't understand how much others could ruin them. If they don't straten up, I'd say, do whatever you can to screw them over.

I don't understand what's going on. Why would they be so rude to you? Go in with a tape recorder, or a make the guy sign a paper that says when they'll be in, so you have show it th them that they said it would be in on a certain day. That will help your case at least. Won't get them there any sooner though.

But yea, next time i order somethin from these guys im gonna get them to sign somethin sayin "its gonna b in by this day unless there is a serious problem, IE the part is discontinued, has to be made specialy" these brackets had to be made specialy, but the thing is the guy didnt place an order untill 2 weeks after i first placed it.

Just be glad you even have a preformance shop. I'd hate for something like that to happen here to me. If I actually found a shop, and they did something like that to me, I'd just be screwed. I was thinking about that earlier, after I told you to screw them over. Sucks when it's all you can go to. Are there any other shops around you? BTW, why is no one else replying on this thread? Seems to be just you and me.

Just find the cars of the guys who are jerkin you around and take their seats out of their cars, and hold them captive til you get yours completely installed and functioning properly!!! Let throw their seats away (or sell them) and tell them it's gonna be 4-6 weeks!!! Do unto others as you shall have done unto you...

lol..shrugs..ppl dont care? There r tons of performance shops near by, its just JRP is the biggest pure performance shop. There r alot of places thats sell stuff like sparco and momo but they do cataloge/mail order for them. JRP does straight from the manucaturer. I mostly get stuff from JRP or from this chain of places called performance improvements. PI is one of the mail oder places and they r reasonably good, but very limited on what they can order/get. They are better for getting little parts such as light bulbs, peices of piping for CAI's, and tons of honda parts.

so..once again they **** me around. They said today it would be in, at very latest. So i call around 2:30 and the guy who first did the order answers, so i say "Hey Carson, its Bryan, are the brackets in yet?" so he says "NOPE!"...n then it goes silent..so i say "ooookkk..well can u figure out where exactly they are?? Like use the shipping tracking number??" So he goes "uhhhhhh..umm..i guess so..gimme a min to find the tracking # and ill call u back in 5 min" so sure enough he calls back in 10 min, and says "yea, the truck is stuck at the boarder, it should be here tomorrow" Second time its been said its at the boarder. So i ask to speak to the manager, so he calls me back 40 min l8er n puts me on a conference call with carson and me. So i tell them im very disapointed in the service ive been gettin, the fact they r givin me different time frames for the last few weeks, and that im gettin poor coustomer service. SO they turn it around and make it seem like its not just for me to be mad at them. So they said most likely its gonna b in tomorrow, but not gaurenteed. So for all i know it could be in tomorrow or monday.

i think you need to set an ultimatdum (sp) with them. tell them if it doesn't get here by tomorrow. they would have to compensate you. cause they've took too long. if they refuse. tell them you want your money back and you're gonna get it somewhere else which is more punctual. if they won't refund the money. SUE

ur right bulldog, we cant sue up here...well we can, but it has to be for very different reasons as u can down south of us. But yea, the brackets came in today, finaly. But, as usual theres a kicker. The slider handels arent in. So if i wanna move my seat forwards i gotta get out of the car, reach under the seat, press up on the 2 tabs and have some one push my seat forward and hope its where it needs to be. But yea, the brackets, sparco designed them nicely. To install them, u have to take ur seat belt bolt out completely. Ie the one that holds the seat belt to the frame beside the door. Oh and also, for the seat, its suppost to be hight adjustable, but the thing is the way its supost to adjust the hight, you can really only adjust the back of the seat's hight, So tomorrow, i gotta take the seat out again, cut part of the brackets, and reinstall it. Fun stuff. But hey, at least i have the sparcos in the car. Now just to be able 2 drive without havin my head pressed against the head liner.

EDIT: Ill add pics tomorrow. Ill show u how f*ckin rediculus i look drivin around in it right now.

Good to hear you gottem in man. When the handles come in, that'll be nice, eh? I don't understand some of your abreviations sometimes. Oh well. I'm looking forward to those pictures. I've been wanting seats for awhile. I'm not sure I want to make the car look not stock though.

You need some nice 4 points to go with those. They should make a bar that goes across there above the speakers in the back so we can mount 4 or 5 points in our cars. I was going to mount some off the rear strut brace bar, but I'm not sure if it's too far away, of if that'd effect it. Are those seat comfertable? They sure are red. I'd get them rapped in black, that seems to me like it would look better. Depends on the theme your going for. Definately a nice addition. Sparco's too, dang.

dude - i would order from some where else next time - the manager that leads a crew of bad people - is a bad manager - business ethics 1-0-1 / your employees reflects the kind of manager you are --

i would rather pay more else where to get better or decent service - but thats just me -

thats not 100% ture, the whole "your employees reflect the kind of manager you are" My old manager was great, great guy, been workin at the same company for years and most of us were good guys but there were a few morons i worked with. But you know what the kicker is? The retard that screwed me over and gave me so much sh*t through this process, gets a spot on tv. I was scanning though the channels and came across a show on Speed network called CCR TV (chop cut rebuild), and low and behold, whos on it? Carson and his oh so enthusiastic voice. In his lil interview he sounded like was on downers. The whole thing was him helpin out a few guys at a shop workin on JRP's WRX. Its funny though cuz every one workin in the shop looked like mechanics, then carson comes strolling in in a pair of shorts not even 2 his knees, his JRP button up shirt tucked into his shorts, black shoes with white socks and his gray hair....it was sooo bloody funny. I honestly donno why or how they let him be on TV.
