Okay so get this, this past saturday I take my Celi down to the old Gettysburg Airport. They are having racing. Basically street racing but on the airport. They don't have the light set up so two people go up someone lines you up and when the irl drops the flag you go. The fastest car wins. Well anyhow, I go up there for advertising for my business QMC. While I'm up there my brothers girl wa there to, we start talking about racing. Well come to find out there have been no girls racing yet...well of course that has to change so I take Kelly (my bro's girl) and get a ticket to race. So her and I are gonna go against each other. She's driving the black Celi with the custom exhaust, and I'm ddriving the red and black one. So we line up do our burn outs and the dude comes running over to me. He's like "you dropped something". Well I forgot when I set up that morning that I put my show header cover on. So it fell off when I did the burn out. I get out get it and say thanks and here it is get this. The guy turns around and goes "That really sucks are you sure you can race that when the muffler cover fell off" laugh.gif . LMAO I turned and looked at kelly and then back to the guy and said "yeah, I'm good I made sure I had the muffler bearings tightened and the headlight fluid is filled." The guys like "ok cool". I lost it once I got back in the car. Either he thought I didn't know crude about cars or he just....well.....needed to take cars 101.

Okay that's about it. Had a good laugh and figured I'd let you all in on it. Oh and I ended up beating Kelly by about 2 car lengths doing 108 mph.....it was fun biggrin.gif

When you did the burn out, did you move forward much? Cause if it fell off and you move forward, he could have thought that it came off the muffler. And if your heat shead comes off your muffler and your running the car hot, like racing or something, it can melt paint or floor in you trunk. So, it may not have been a good idea to run without your muffler cover. Since it wasn't your muffler cover, you were most likely fine. Kinda funny how your making fun of him.

some cars do have a muff cover .. its for one of 2 things .. either protect the muff from rock and other suff os a heat cover .. that goes on top to protect the under body of the car...

p.s. when its red don't touch it with heat gloves... cause fook it will still burn your hand...
