Nope. Unless I was absolutely thrashing on my 5SFE then I don't think that may car would break into 16's easily lol. You need at least some healthy mods to get a Celica into that realm.
Jeffs Civic ran a 17.3 also...seems to be a popular number. -------------------- 3rd gen ST205 3SGTE - Alive and boosting. |

haven't been to a 1/4 mile track yet but they are opening up one in gettysburg this summer. so far on the 1/8 mile my best time was 10.79, my best reaction time was .5072. Nothing real impressive, I'm expecting my car to run in the 17's 18's in the 1/4 mile this summer.

16.89 is what i got and what some one would get with an st or gt is around late 16's--early 18's depending on driver.

I think there's at least a haff a second difference from GT to ST. and i think there could be up to 2 seconds off of a person who is really comfertable with their car in launch and shifting i really htink u find a driver that really knows their car good(st) and a guy who knows his car so-so(gt) and you can get the st to beat the gt |

It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside. |
