I searched, but I couldn't find anything exactly like my situation.
This is strange. Today on the way to work I filled up on gas. A few miles down the road, I noticed that my car was feeling VERY underpowered. Then, as I was stopped at a red light, I had to literally put my foot all the way down on the gas to even get it moving.. and up until about 20 mph it would go, then stop.. go, then stop.. like it would stall for a brief moment. Is this a result of bad gas..? Or does it sound like a fuel filter or fuel injector problem? -------------------- |

i had a similar problem.
i'm betting it's either your alternator or your ignition coil.. more likely the ignition coil because i had the same problem on my 5th gen. -------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |

Putting diesel in a non-diesel car can seriously damage it. It doesn't seriously damage it, it just makes it so it won't run. My girlfriend as put diesel in her car twice. She apparently put some kerosien in before her and I started dating. I guess that messed it up a bit. -------------------- Live Free, Be Happy

Wow, there are so many suggestions.
Alternator and ignition coil both replaced a month ago. All wires, etc are basically brand new. -------------------- |

Sounds like a vacuum leak to me. I had that problem in another car once. A simple hose on top the valve cover was loose. Make sure your gas cap is screwed on until it clicks.
