you know, i always hear people say ...fuel filter. yet ive never seen it fix anything for anyone.
jen, try to drive the car some more....pop the hood, and see if there are any more details you can give us. so far we have, stall, and low power. that could be anything from a clutch, vac line, to electrical . does the car idle fine? does anything change when u put it in gear? does your rpm climb high, but your car is slow to accelerate? -------------------- 15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned

As someone already said - check your spark plugs.
Had the same problem on my SSI. Checked everything. Spent quite a bit of money on different stuff. And then in the end found out that I had a cracked plug. I checked it before, just didn't notice it. |

Sorry to bring up an old topic BUT... I'm having the same problem, but after I had replaced my fuel filter nothing changes, reset my ECU, dumped in some 44k (fuel cleaner/additive) and it got a little better but it just goes right back to how it was performing when the problem first occured once its had time to run its course. I'm not sure if i should keep dumping in 44k untill it gets better or just give up and take it to a shop to have the injectors cleaned with a more industrial solvent?

Trust me if 44K didn't clean it.....nothing will. That stuff is wicked. I'd one again check the plugs and head gasket type stuff. You losing and fluid? How does the rotor and cap look etc?

Plugs still are good, wires are good, rotor and cap are still Good, coolant levels and oil are good, not even any atf is being consumed. I'm half tempted to just throw some injectors at it and see how it goes since when I did put in the 44k it got a little better for a little while.
