Hey I know the 5th and 6th gen are very similar, but that not what I need help with. I need help looking up the history on this car. IT was kinda fishy that the car was in fair condition and selling so cheap. The seller tells me she is moving out of town, back to Sweden actually, but on Sunday when we are suppose to make the transaction at 4pm, she cant find the pink slip, and her flight is at 8pm. So there is no real time for her to look for it. She tells me she will be back in 4 days, Thursday I guess, JUST to sell her car and what not. I probably couldve thought of something up like writing up a letter saying the sale was legit. Now a days anyone can be shady so I told her i would wait for her to come back, IF SHE COMES BACK. But I got the VIN number.

I noticed some people here can get that info is the car is stolen or salvage, the history pretty much, here is the VIN # JT2ST85N5M0070627 . Can some one help me out and let me know if everything is ok? Im not sure if the members here are getting the history reports thru carfax.com or not. But any info will help.

Thanks,
David

Yupp I met up with her. twice actually. the 1st time to test drive the car, but she was in a rush so she didnt give me too much time to ask questions and inspect the car thoroughly. I took it for the test drive and she took off.

Then this Sunday when she told me she couldnt find the pink slip.

Adios,
David

Well, I don't know how long she will be back on Thursday, is 1 thing. So I don't know if she will have time for it?

But I just want to make sure the car is legit. That's why I want to see if the history is cool.

Thanks,
David
