Hey, well i finally got all the bulbs in i ordered, and also the climate control (Thanks to WannabeGT4 on the fantastic job)... Thought id throw some pics out here and tell me what you think. They sent me the wrong front turn bulbs, so these are only temporary. The dome lights arent shown, but they are a faint blue also. Very calm looking.
-climate control- -climate/clock/radio- -entireinterior- -sidemarkers/lowbeams- front pic of car, cant really see the turns Well tell me what you think. This post has been edited by JFrost9: Dec 10, 2005 - 4:35 PM -------------------- I am now a part of the ihavemorethen16gc club! |

Awesome. Glad you like the climate control. It looks alot better in real life than it does in that pic. Here is the picture I took of it. I think it's a little closer to the real thing:

lol actually snap it was all directly plugged in like normal... no tapping, just some soldering... The stereo is ok, ive had it for awile now, and it does its job... yea snap i was thinking about adding some red bulbs to the back of the guages, cuz it kinda leaks through... and it would be cool to have the needles and odometer be red...havent done it yet though.

i like that...see i have the reverse glow guages, so those will stay blue, but i was thinking i could throw some red bulbs in there , and make the odometer and needles red. Ill post pics later tonight when im done...

Ya i think that would look good. the only reason i made mine red with white needles is because all my interior exterior is gonna be red and black.

Here is the picture I took of it. I think it's a little closer to the real thing: Well i just realized that i actually had the little nob on the side turned down practically all the way...thats why it came out so faint. I have it turned down because my guages look funny (due to backlighting) with the nob turned up fully...But the CC still looks great no matter where i have the nob at. -------------------- I am now a part of the ihavemorethen16gc club! |

QUOTE(Batman722 @ Dec 16, 2005 - 1:01 AM) JFrost, what LEDs (bulbs) did you use for the CC backlighting ? (the 3) I did the CC for him. Each button is individualy backlit. The two bulbs on the left side of the unit that backlight the knobs were replaced with 4 LEDs. Two LEDs in each bulb location angled properly to create as uniform lighting as possible. The bulb that was in the right side of the unit isn't needed since it's only function was for backlighting the re-circulation and AC buttons. I just used what I had lying around. 3v/5mm/5000mcd. It's so bright, I don't really like it. -------------------- |
