I bought a new set of wires recently and my coil wire was too short. I bought the wire set for a 93 MR2 because that is the engine I have. I am wondering if I should have just bought the ST185 wire set. For you guys that bought a ST185 clip, I need you to tell me how long it the wire is. Thanks.

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

Is that from a ST185 or SW20 Manny?

i bought a st185 wire set from toyota and the coil wire is the correct length. how short is yours? you could always move the coil closer to the left of the firewall if its too far over to reach.

i had a problem when i got my coil wire in the set. i ordered for my 93 clip and the problem wasnt the length. it was the sizes. for some reason the old one had a much larger plug so i had to reuse it.
