i just pulled all kinds of parts out of my st and now i cant seem to find out how to get the head off. everything is disassembled off of the head, do i need to take off the camshaft and take out the bolts underneath? any help will be much appreciated...

You need to remove timing belt, remove cam caps, remove cams, then remove head bolts (located under camshafts)...

yes i pulled the timing belt off it was like the first thing i did and now i have pulled the caps and camshaft's off i just now can find a 12point 10mm socket to fit the headbolts underneath the camshafts. thanks for the help guys

Could somebody point me to the direction in how to remove the crankpulley the poor way, cause I can't find the tool needed to remove it.

when i did my first, it was outta the bay, and i used a long breaker bar, and hit it with a hammer, REALLY hard..so that the engine wouldnt rotate, but the bolt loosened.
that was on a '98 motor, tho.
every time since, ive had to use an air gun.

i didnt even get around to taking it out today because i was trying to figure out why my 94 eclipse wasnt idling right...
