but its not a 6G.. its a 5G

1991 Celica GT coupe
its red, auto, and stock well almost stock cept for the cone filter and some type of exhaust
This is what im going to be using until I find a 6G for sale around my area

i was thinking keeping it the same.. maybe cleaning it up a bit, getting rid of some crazy wires, addin fogs and such.

Ill get some pics up later if anyone wants to see it..

oh yea what sites are there for the 5G.. im already in celicatech and there seems to be a good number of 5G owners around there

Nice! The body looks good. Now remember, I tried to tell you my AUTO Coupe is for sale (but you wanted a Hatchback Manual drive), and you got something similar lol?!?! You say it is stock, but looks like you got a fart can muffler on it. I live in Hampton, and I think you would really like my Celi. Just let me know. biggrin.gif

yea I remember your car.. The reason I have this one now is because my dad told he was getting it either ways.. the owner was a family friend.

Im actually still searchin for a 6GC,

I been taking off the crap and making it more stock.. Took off some crappy afternarket headlights and put on some stockers, ripped off the indiglo cluster because of 2 reasons, it was crap ugly with all the wires coming from everywhere, 2 the cluster was missing some needles lol, I put a stock on from the JY.. next is to get the fart can off and get a stock airbox

What's the reason behind the removal of the muffler and the air intake? They're not really hurting anything. Everything else you've taken off, good going. 5th gens doing have the style that 6th gens do, but they have just as much potential.

the intake is just sitting on top of the bottom airbox.. you have a good point there.. maybe i wont take the intake off.. for the exhaust its stupid loud.. I drove the Celi to school today and everyone was starring at me.. and im tryin to keep a low profile with the celi....

any suggestion on the sluggish steering?

I know the celis are suppose to have crisp and nimble feeling but mine is sluggish..
--

MODs for this car is not going to happen tho. If I do start modding it would be on a lower Mileage car.. theres a 93 GTS for sale around my area..it has like 130K

I might get that and start modding it I someone buys this one hehe

You take the bottem of the air box off yet? I wonder why the exhaust is so loud. I have strate pipe with a muffler very similar to the one you've got on there, and it's really not that loud. My strate pipe is only 2' though. The older Celica's have more crisp steering than the 6th gens. They changed the powering steering system so they feel a little numb. You can get a new steering wheel that is maybe a bit smaller and it will make the steering feel better.

Those older ones look mean especially in GT4 form all apart from the old teacher that had one at my school it had big rims with holes called vx1's and a turbo timer. Hey bro are you going to get some JDM lights for your 5th gen?

So theres a 94 ST HB being offered to me well.. not until June or so

From what they tell me it has arou 8X,XXX Miles but it was in an accident..
The dude told me that the front end was damaged the there was frame dmg.. the hood wont close all the way and I think the bumper is fixed...

The car is going for 3K Is that a good price? The part im scared of is the fram damage Im not sure how much damage it has..

Not a good price. Keep the 5th gen. You don't want to buy something that not right, especially with the frame. The car will never feel right. It can feel better, but it's really hard ot get it to feel as good as original. Wait for a better deal.

why not get a gt? The price difference is small in comparison to the enjoyment level of the gt compared to the st
