im looking to get some recomendations on the ceramic pads they have on tirerack.com . about a year ago, i bought a set of Satisfied Pro ceramic pads. they are a little noisy, low dust, but now after 1yr it sounds like they are already worn because im hearing my wear indicators. so now im wanting to try something new. any recomendations on a great pad with long life and low dust? im trying to stick with what they have on tirerack, cause they pretty much ship to me next day . __________________ -------------------- 15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned

I have had my Raybestas Ceramic pads for 3-4 months or so I'm very happy with em, had to work em in for a few days of good stopping to get them working good, but since then they have held up withough an issue or a squek of any kind. they indure repeated "slam on the break" stops withough going soft. (there on my brimbo cross drilled disks) (4 wheel disk breaks)

Ceramic don't leave as much dust everywhere, and I'm sure there are other reasons.

just wanted to post an update... got the brakes checked out when i went in for an inspection. the pads are still fine. something else must have been making the horrible noise i was hearing about a month back. now the noise is gone and the car stops great... go figure...maybe the temp change outside had something to do with the noise? .... so it looks like im still keeping the pads i have

could have been a loose caliper causing uneven braking and making them squeek, sanding down pads evenly helps too
