how much would it be to install a new clutch? like an ACT clutch?

around 800, probably cheaper if you bought your own clutch.

I would buy the clutch kit myself ( $150-200) Then if your dead set on not doing it your self (you learn alot by changing a clutch) take it to a shop (not a dealership) and they will probably charge you 500 bucks to put it in.

Why would that affect the install price? Labor prices don't really relate to the type of part... but to the work involved. The labor for a clutch R&R (remove and replace) is 98% for the tranny. Replacing the actual clutch, regardless of the kit, takes only a few minutes. On a side note... my shop has done R&R clutch replacements on FWD Toyotas for like 350.00 + parts (mostly because my cousin and myself are VERY toyota experienced and can do the job VERY VERY quick).
