I just got out of court.... and i had a ticket for doin 72 in a 55 - The judge told me that the speed is too high for him to give me driving school. So, im going to have to just pay the ticket. What im wondering is - how's this going to affect my insurance -- is anyone here an expert on insurance quotes ... btw, im 18yr. old male. I hope my insurance doesn't go through the roof! kindasad.gif

when it comes time for your insurance renewal/review - it may go up an extra $20+ a month - or they may even cancel the policy if you had more than 1 - but it you only have liability you should be ok just have to pay more -- its usually gets canceled if you have full coverage because the company would not want to cover an 18 yrold that drives like that -- worst case scenario - if you're covered under your parents policy - theirs may get canceled too - unless they take you off -- speaking from experience here

I had 3 tickets on my record when I was younger than 21 and my insurance didn't change at all. I think you'll be ok. I also have/and had at the time full coverage. First ticket was 92 in a 70.
