Projectors, Those Illegal Headlights Options

Hey I found a website that sells those projector headlights for 420 bucks a pair. That's U.S. currency.
Go to www.toyotaworld.com then click on exclusive toyota excessories then scroll down and click on headlight conversion kits. It doesn't say a part number or a way to order but maybe someone else can find a way to contact the people who run this site and find ways to get it. I also added it to the parts database under projector healights

I am currious as to why the internet price is so much higher than the retail price... usally its the other way around... I would suggest calling or emailing them about the price, shipping, group buy discounts, etc

sorry neverstop, but iono where you shop...420 is VERY MUCH cheaper than retail. retail price for just the lowbeams (which he's talkin about) is is 318.07 EACH. if you don't believe me, i can take a picture of a reciept i have for them. if you do the math, that is 636.14 for a pair PLUS shipping. and 420 < 626. um, however, through toyotaworld.com, you get the lights for 238.55 each, coming to a nice 477.10 for the pair. i got mine for that, and ended up being 491.10 shipped to me. i'm still waiting on the high beams tho..they need to FUGGIN HURRY!

now that I go back and look at it I realize what you mean about the retail price that is for just one and not both.... I just glanced at it and then started looking at other stuff.

i wanna say from toyotaworld.com, they are about 175 each i think. i know the whole set runs about 780. i can let you know exactly when i get my high beams and the reciept.

yeah, um, if you wanna save 20-30 bucks do that, but w/ toyotaworld.com you can get the lights a hell of a lot quicker. i know all the people that got the JDM taillights from roo are still waitin on those, and that was a couple months ago that that GB went down.

What's the difference between stock and the projectors??

I'm not sure about how they light up the road. But they do look a lot cooler than normal lights. And I have never seen ANY [B][/B]civic that has headlights like these. Yea, they have blue and purple lights but you can get those colors in the H1 size too. H1 is the size that the low beam projectors use.

yeah, i got the projectors, and they are sexy as hell on the road, and of course, when hittin a bump, the oncoming cars get to see the beams flash. hehe, and yeah, i have hyperwhite H1's in mine. the main reason that the projectors are 100% better, is because um, my brackets were broken on my stock headlights. so ya know. the price was slightly justified.

how do you take out your stock lights. Not just the bulb. I'm talking the whole thing. I just received the low beam projectors and I can't seem to figure out how they go in.

You have to take off your front bumper completely in order to take out and put in headlight assemblies. There's no way to get them out or put them in without doing this. If you need help taking off the front bumper just let us know.

i will be putting up a how-to on this as soon as i get my JDM high beams. which I HOPE is fairly soon, seeing as how i've waited for almost 2months now.

did that group buy go down? I thought that was just for the tails. I didn't even know that he could get the projectors until after Christmas, at least that is waht he initially said.

Anyway, how can you say toyotaworld is faster when you don't even have your highs in yet?

yeah good point. they keep gettin held up. i expected them before christmas. i was going on the assumption that if you bought them way back when i made that post, they would get here sooner than when they got here from teh group buy...seeing as how a lot of people that were in the taillight group by a few months ago still haven't even gotten their taillights yet. that's all i'm basing my comment on. as for the group buy on the headlgiths, i think it will be in january. not sure though.
